Buying foam trays to transport your models can be expensive. It’s totally worth spending the money to protect your investment, but some of us have less of it to spend than others.
So, I’ll show you how cheap and easy it is to make your own miniature foam trays for your models, so you can transport and store them safely. I’ve been doing this for years now (since 2006), and the trays have held up really well. In fact, I haven’t bought any trays since I started doing this.
