Mortem et Gloriam – Argyraspides – Silver Shield Pikemen
In this article I share my experiences in painting a unit of Argyraspides (elite Silver Shield pikemen from the time of wars after Alexander’s the Great between his Successors). This is the unit in 15mm scale from Xyston and I painted it for the historical system called Mortem et Gloriam.
As it was my very first unit in this scale I had to develop my own method of painting at smaller scale than usual but with more models per unit. I wrote the article mainly to share my experiences and get some feedback on how to improve things in the future. However, I am quite happy with the results and I hope you will find it useful too!
